The lab notebook to end all lab notebooks

As I finished a big experiment today and placed the data sheet into the last page of EKA lab notebook #3, I began to wonder if squashing 2.5 years of lab work into one book was a good idea or not...As you can see the book is a bit full and ready to burst at any moment.

Over two years of RNA spec sheets, experimental details, QC print-outs...I'm not sure whether to feel proud or sad that everything significant I've done since January 2011 fits into a 100 page notebook ;)

Either way, the lesson learned here is not to take lab notes like I do! Keep your notebook neat and up-to-date and at a weight that is less than 25 pounds.
