Football, soccer, potato, potahtoe.

I figured if I want to be a world traveler, I should at least give soccer/football a chance. It's been fun to watch the world cup matches while learning more about this sport and the countries that all come to watch the events unfurl on this worldwide stage.

Even though I didn't get the EAPSI this year (giving it another go this December, though!) I greatly enjoyed cheering on the New Zealand soccer team as they played against Italy. It was quite an epic match...in the end the NZ team fought a hard battle and pulled out a tie against the highly-favored Italians. Gotta love that kiwi tenacity!
