Field study is almost fully approved by IACUC, got some mosquitofish yesterday to make cDNA libraries, starting data analysis for biomarker discovery next week. Summer is movin' right along!
Going home for a short visit next weekend, it will be pretty nice to see my family again. I'm also eager, however, to get started on all these exciting projects.
At a fellowship writing workshop this morning. Hope to get a few good ideas for round 3 of the GRFP next fall as well as EAPSI and other fellowships that come along during my graduate career. I learned that the average number of re-submitals for successful grants is 2.7, so that may mean next year may finally be my year for GRFP!
As always, there's lots to do but I'm eager for all of it. Let's go, summer.
